Optional:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, and sea salt. Stir well to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
Add 3 tbsps of water to the dry mixture. Stir the mixture until it starts to come together. If it's still crumbly, gradually add another tablespoon of water until the dough holds together without being too sticky.
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out into a thin, even layer. Aim for a thickness of about 1/8 inch (3 mm).
Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the rolled dough into traditional rectangles or get creative and create shapes with mini cookie cutters.
Optional: for extra flavor, add the Maldon sea salt flakes, lightly sprinkle a pinch of the flakes on top of the crackers before baking.
Now add the prepared crackers to the oven and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crackers turn a beautiful golden brown. Be sure to keep a close eye on them in the last few minutes to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven, allow them to completely cool, and ENJOY! They continue to crisp as they cool.
Once the have completely cooled, store them in an airtight container.
