Ingredients

  • 1 grapefruit, peeled
  • 2 inch piece of ginger root, skin on
  • 2 inch piece turmeric, skin on
  • 6 oranges, peeled
  • 8 carrots, top cut off
  • dash of black pepper (you will not taste it)

Directions

  1. Wash and prepare all the produce.
  2. Juice the produce and enjoy the juice immediately

Recipe notes:

Do not skip the black pepper, it is needed to help with the absorption of curcumin from the turmeric. I have read several articles that claim turmeric and black pepper have key ingredients that when combined may contribute to their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and disease-fighting properties.
