Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts
- 2 1/2 cups pitted Medjool dates, loosely packet
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1 /2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1-2 tbsp water (if needed)
Directions
- Prepare a 9x5 inch pan by lining with unbleached parchment paper, set aside.
- Using a food processor, add the walnuts and process into a fine crumb.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor, process until combined well. Should be a sticky paste like consistency. If the desired consistency is not reached, add 1 tbsp of water at a time until met.
- Remove the mixture from the processor and add to the 9x5 inch pan, press it down using your hands.
- Place the pan into the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Remove the pan and cut the brownies into squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1 week or freezer for up to 1 month.
